Intisari: Ketimpangan muncul ketika distribusi kekayaan dan peluang tidak merata. Dalam manajemen, isu ini berkaitan erat dengan cara organisasi mengelola potensi manusia dan sumber daya finansial agar semua individu memiliki kesempatan berkembang.1) Konsep Dasar Ketimpangan Ekonomi Ketimpangan ekonomi terjadi saat akses terhadap modal, pendidikan, dan kesempatan tidak didistribusikan secara adil. Akibatnya tercipta jurang antara kelompok kaya dan miskin. Peran manajemen: bukan hanya mengejar efisiensi, melainkan juga menciptakan sistem kerja yang adil, inklusif, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan manusia.
2) Tiga Faktor Utama 2.1 Start Condition (Kondisi Awal) Meliputi latar belakang keluarga, kualitas pendidikan, akses modal, dan lingkungan sosial. Individu dengan kondisi start unggul umumnya memiliki jaringan dan peluang lebih besar.
Implikasi Manajerial: terapkan rekrutmen, pelatihan, dan promosi yang adil agar kondisi awal tidak menjadi penghalang kemajuan karyawan.
2.2 Earning Skill (Kemampuan Menghasilkan Uang) Kemampuan menciptakan nilai ekonomi: keahlian teknis, komunikasi, kreativitas, inovasi, kepemimpinan. Individu dengan earning skill tinggi cenderung berpenghasilan lebih baik.
Implikasi Manajerial: prioritaskan training & development , upskilling/reskilling, serta budaya pembelajaran berkelanjutan.
2.3 Financial Skill (Kemampuan Mengelola Keuangan) Kecakapan mengatur arus kas, berinvestasi, melindungi aset, dan mengelola risiko. Tanpa literasi keuangan, penghasilan tinggi pun dapat habis.
Implikasi Manajerial: bangun budaya financial literacy dan sediakan program edukasi keuangan bagi seluruh anggota.
3) Integrasi Tiga Faktor dalam Praktik Manajemen Kebijakan SDM adil: kompensasi transparan, jalur karier jelas, mentoring lintas level.Penguatan kompetensi: program sertifikasi, proyek lintas fungsi, dan KPI yang menghargai pembelajaran.Literasi keuangan di tempat kerja: kelas investasi dasar, perencanaan pensiun, dan manajemen risiko.4) Contoh Penerapan Start Condition: beasiswa internal, rekrutmen inklusif, onboarding adaptif.Earning Skill: akademi digital marketing, pelatihan negosiasi, leadership camp .Financial Skill: lokakarya anggaran pribadi, program employee saving plan , asuransi & dana darurat.5) Tugas Mahasiswa Tugas Individu: tulis refleksi singkat (±2 halaman) berjudul “Bagaimana meningkatkan earning skill dan financial skill agar tidak terjebak dalam kemiskinan struktural?”
